CE Broker

The Georgia Board of Nursing uses CE Broker to track and verify compliance with continuing competency requirements. All licensees are to submit their CE in CE Broker regardless of whether or not you have been selected for audit.  Please visit CE Broker’s website at https://www.cebroker.com/ga/account_options, create your free account and follow the instructions to submit documentation of one of the required continuing competency options.  Remember, do not forward your CE documentation to the Board.  All documentation should be sent to CE Broker.  The Board will now review your records in CE Broker electronically when conducting renewal audits.

License Renewal

Submit your renewal online in minutes - just follow these steps:

  • Visit the Georgia Online Licensing site at www.sos.ga.gov/plb (Free internet access is available at every Georgia Public Library).
  • Click on the License Renewal link. 
  • Enter your login information. If you do not remember your login credentials, click on the link to reset for a "person" license type.
  • Update your mailing and physical location addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and answer the renewal questions. 
  • Pay your renewal fee(s) using your American Express, Mastercard, or Visa on the secure server.
  • Print your receipt of payment.
  • Verify your renewal online.
  • Print your license online.

If you choose not to renew online and would like to request a renewal form that will be mailed to your address on file with board, please call 478-207-2440.

Please note that renewing by mail may take up to 4 weeks to process after the completed renewal form is received. A late fee will be imposed if you renew after the expiration date of your license. You cannot practice after your license expiration date!
